Boxing Academy is the largest and most modern boxing gym in Cyprus. It is located in the centre of Limassol city and was founded in 1994 by Mr. Polis Potamitis, Cyprus' Boxing Champion for 8 years (1982 - 1990, Kg 51, 54, 57, 60).
Boxing Academy is the only recognized boxing gym that both trainers had graduated as Health and Physical Education specialized in boxing and they both had represented Cyprus in international boxing tournaments.
We offer a safe introduction to boxing for people interesting in self defense, weight loss, and most importantly cardiovascular endurance under the supervision of our trainers. We accept people over 8 years old.
After lots of requests we would like to announce that we have started female group for boxing.
The gym is 400 sqm, 35 sqm mirror for shadow boxing, 85 sqm for floor exercises and aerobics, 20 heavy bags, 3 speed bags, 5 double end bags (floor to sealing) 1 maize ball, 5 wall targets, 1 ring) dozens of skipping ropes medicine balls for field exercises, weights and bicycles.
