Campus Experience Real Madrid Foundation, Spain

Sports Complex:

Campus Experience Real Madrid Foundation is an educational football camp for boys and girls aged roughly six to seventeen, run every summer in the Community of Madrid. The key thing you were trying to find is that the actual training takes place mainly at Ciudad Real Madrid, the club’s enormous training complex in Valdebebas on the north east edge of Madrid, a short distance from Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport Terminal 4. Some programmes can also use municipal sports centres in the region, but Valdebebas is the core site.

Sports facilities
At Real Madrid Sports City the campus usually makes use of the full size grass and artificial football pitches on the academy side plus dedicated areas for small sided games and warm ups. The overall complex covers around 1.2 million square metres and includes twelve football fields with stands for roughly eleven thousand spectators, as well as the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium, large indoor gyms, a high level medical and rehabilitation centre and a separate basketball pavilion used by Real Madrid’s basketball teams. Campus sessions are delivered by Real Madrid Foundation coaches using the club methodology, with sixty to ninety minute training blocks on the pitch combined with “experience activities” focused on values such as leadership, teamwork and respect.

Wellness and recovery
Real Madrid City houses one of the most advanced medical and recovery centres in world football, with physiotherapy rooms, several hydrotherapy pools, hot and cold plunge baths, sauna and Turkish bath plus large gyms connected directly to the training fields. Campus participants follow a more basic routine centred on stretching, hygiene and controlled workloads after each session, and the residential schedule can also include time in a swimming pool as a lighter recovery or leisure block.

Logistics and transfers
All official Campus Experience transfers run to and from Madrid Barajas Airport Terminal 4, where staff welcome residential players, help with luggage and supervise unaccompanied minors before taking them by shuttle to the residence. During the week dedicated buses link the residence, city meeting points, Valdebebas and any additional municipal sports centres used. For families travelling independently, Ciudad Real Madrid is reachable by Cercanías train to Valdebebas or by city bus, with the training complex sitting roughly five kilometres from Terminal 4 and around fourteen kilometres from central Madrid by road.
