The state institution GRADSKI SPORTSKI CENTAR MAKARSKA was established in 2000 by the decision of the city of Makarska and began functioning in early 2003. This institution is the successor of the City Sports Center, which began its activities in 1960. when at that time a unique sports and entertainment center was built complex in the southern regions of Europe with the aim of training athletes at various sports fields and, in particular, to create more suitable conditions for sports in clubs in the community and in sports of citizens. tdyh The city sports center of Makarska covers more than 50,000 m2 of sports and indoor sports facilities.
