It has been operating since 1961, and in 2003 it was covered with a movable roof. In 2005, a complete reconstruction of the pool building with stands and other sports facilities was carried out. Olympic pool 50 x 25 x 2.5 m wide and a small pool of 18 x 5 m . The Olympic swimming pool is licensed to hold official swimming competitions, diving and water polo competitions. The pool is suitable for organizing swimming schools, programs for water sports, aqua aerobics, water gymnastics and other similar programs. Currently, pool users are water polo clubs, swimming clubs, secondary schools for physical education and health, people with special needs, people engaged in recreation. The capacity of the theater is 2,200 seats. Within the city’s swimming pool, there is a catering facility, as well as office premises, which are owned by the government agency Sports Facilities Dubrovnik, Waterpolo and Swim Club Jug. The city swimming pool is located in the management system of the State Institution of Sports Facilities in Dubrovnik.
