Grupo Desportivo dos Pescadores da Costa da Caparica is the home football ground of the historic community club of the same name in Costa da Caparica, in the municipality of Almada on Portugal’s Atlantic coast. Founded in 1944 by local fishermen, the club today focuses mainly on football, with senior and youth teams competing in the Setúbal district structure and using the ground as their base for matches and regular training.
The venue itself is a simple but well-maintained 11-a-side football pitch in compacted dirt, enclosed by fencing and laid out for competitive play, with basic spectator areas along the touchlines, team changing rooms and easy outside parking. It functions year round as a grassroots football space for club activities, local tournaments and community events close to the beaches of Costa da Caparica.
