The Silverdome is home to many sports and sporting clubs. Its sports floors can host netball, basketball, futsal, tennis, indoor hockey and any other sport that plays on an indoor surface. It regularly host national sporting championships across many disciplines and pride ourselves on the flexibility and versatility of the venue. The Silverdome can seat up to 3200 people for sporting events, depending on the configuration, making it the largest capacity venue for indoor sport in northern Tasmania. The facility is also has a cycling track which is regularly used by the local community and hosts several major events each year.
The sports base features various training equipment and specialised facilities to cater to athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all skill levels. It also offers a range of programs and services such as individual training, team practices, and competitions. The facility is staffed by experienced instructors, trainers, and coaches, who are available to assist and guide individuals in reaching their goals.
