Piispala is located in a coniferous forest in the northern part of Central Finland, 7 km from the village of Kannonkoski, on the shores of the purest lake Kivijärvi. It was founded in 1982 and since then has been an excellent place to hold various camps, including international ones. The center is one of 10 centers supported by the Ministry of Education of Finland. One of the main tasks of the center is to support the development of young people through sports, work and rehabilitation. The center is well equipped with facilities for practicing various sports and handicrafts. The center has an indoor pool with a tower and a jacuzzi, an indoor ice skating rink, a curling area, a bowling alley, a climbing slope, gyms, a football field with artificial turf, skis and snowshoes, saunas. Near the ski slope with five tracks of different levels, illuminated cross-country ski run. Accommodation: 2 or 4-bed rooms 6-8 bed rooms in cottages in the rooms: shower and toilet, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and wardrobe Nutrition: 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) Infrastructure: 10 hectares of coniferous forest, which houses the cottages, swimming pool, bowling, 2 sports grounds, a concert hall, playgrounds, equipped marinas and beaches. There are lifeguards on the beaches, there are boats and canoes, barbecue areas, fishing equipment. You can use the traditional Finnish sauna and guest house with a fireplace.
