The State Sports School in Bad Blankenburg is a comprehensive sports facility equipped with a wide range of amenities to accommodate various sports and physical activities. The sports base features various training equipment and specialised facilities to cater to athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all skill levels. It also offers a range of programs and services such as individual training, team practices, and competitions. The facility is staffed by experienced instructors, trainers, and coaches, who are available to assist and guide individuals in reaching their goals.
After an exercise, conference, seminar or walk through the Schwarz Valley, guests can relax in one of the modern, spacious rooms. The State Sports School offers 102 rooms (3 stars top level), all with bathroom and equipped with telephone, TV, desk and Wi-Fi. With a total of 176 beds in single, double and shared rooms, guests can choose the accommodation according to their needs. Also there are 9 double rooms especially prepared for wheelchair users. In addition, the youth camp offers accommodation with 30 beds, most of which are in four-bed rooms and 3 double rooms for coaches and teachers.
The State Sports School offers a varied all-day buffet catering in the sports restaurant with 160 seats. There is a terrace during the summer – to have a delicious grill buffet.
