Male team of Russia for sports gymnastics in Cyprus

Active Planet organized in Cyprus the restoration training for Russian national male gymnastics team.

Coach of the Russian team Valery Alfosov told the media about the trip: «So far, everything is more or
less good, the training was conducted effectively. They kept the sports shape and at the same time
changed the place of training, gained new impressions. The pressure was less intense, but the goal was
not to lose shape and at the same time to swim, sunbathe».
After the training sessions in Cyprus, the Russian National Gymnastics Team took part in the Russian
Cup, which was held in Yekaterinburg from August 21 to August 27. In the personal all-around events,
Nikita Nagorny became the strongest (Moscow) with a score of 175.3 points. The second place was
taken by our pupil David Belyavsky (Yekaterinburg) - 175.15 points. The third place Nikita Ignatiev
(Leninsk-Kuznetsk) - 170.65 points.
