Ticket sales for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics have surpassed 70 percent

Korea's National Olympic Committee announced that there are already 744.8 thousand tickets sold for the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang, or in other words 69.7 percent of their total number. In total, 1.06 million tickets were issued for selling.

According to NOC representatives, the greatest demand is for figure skaters (men's single skating), curling, and also matches for the women's national ice hockey team of Korea. They almost did not remain on sale.

The number of tickets sold for the Paralympic 2018 exceeds 155,000 (70.4 percent of the total number). Maximum demand was noted for the competitions in alpine skiing (93 percent) and snowboarding (92 percent).

The Olympics-2018 will be held from 9 to 25 February. Paralympics - from 9 to 19 March.
