AUC Sports Center is a comprehensive sports facility, located in The American University in Cairo and equipped with a wide range of amenities to accommodate various sports and physical activities.
The AUC Sports Complex occupies the largest space on campus with more than 40,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor facilities, including studios for martial arts and yoga and courts for basketball, volleyball, handball and badminton. It also houses the Khalaf Ahmed Al Habtoor Football and Track Stadium and the Olympic-size Paul B. Hannon Swimming Pool. Here, you can join an aerobics class or enjoy a great workout between classes or at the end of your day. With over 20 sports teams, you can practice and compete in global competitions. AUC is proud of its sports teams and athletes, many of whom have represented Egypt in the Olympics, competed in international championships and won medals at national events.
Sports facilities at AUC New Cairo are extensive and cater to a wide cross-section of activities and programs. Sports equipment is available for every sport for checkout-free of charge at the control desk near the locker rooms.
