Young Stars Theatre & Performing Arts offering classes in ISTD Ballet, Tap, Modern as well as UDO Hip hop, iDance Contemporary, Acro, LAMDA Musical Theatre, Drama and Singing. Since opening the doors in October 2012, the students have also had the opportunities to take workshops with the Uk’s top industry professionals who have worked with names such as One Direction, Jessie J, Rhianna, Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Chris Brown Olly Murs, Cheryl Cole and on West End shows, The Lion King, Thriller Live, Wicked, Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Ghost The Musical to name but a few. Pupils from this school have successfully auditioned for Cypriot Tv shows “DanSing Junior” Mega TV and “The Musical Kids” Sigma Tv in which Young Stars student George Michaelides was crowned the Winner.
The Young Stars Theatre & Performing Arts also has annual scholarships awarded to our Young Stars to attend London’s Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden in their Musical Theatre and Street dance summer school. The school also enjoys continued success in dance festivals/ competition both nationally and internationally ranking 3rd in Europe in the Under 12’s Advance Solo category at the UDO European Street Dance Championships in Germany in 2014 and most recently in November 2015 at the InterStars competition in Limassol winning 1st Place Junior Duo Lyrical Jazz, 1st Place Senior Duo Lyrical Jazz and the Shining Star Junior Division Award.
