The 600-meter sandy beach has calm, warm and shallow water and is close to numerous cafes, bars, restaurants and hotels. The Finikoudes promenade is surrounded by a marina with a pier and a fishing harbor at one end, a second pier and a Medieval fort at the other.
Beach facilities include water sports, beach volley, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sun loungers, umbrellas, as well as benches and plentiful greenery. Rescuers with rescue equipment and first aid services are accommodated on the beach from June to October from 10:30 to 18:00. The beach also offers access for disabled people, including a special wheelchair on the lifeguard tower to help people with disabilities go to sea with the help of lifeguards.
