From the first exhibition performance of basketball players from Europe and the USA, which began on June 17, 1972, until today, the House of Sports has been the venue for the most important sports events, exhibitions, pop and art shows, religious and political gatherings.
The facility has 32,000 m 2 of usable area, of which 10,000 m2 is business space, and 22,000 m2 is used exclusively for sports.
About thirty clubs train daily in eight halls. There isn't a month that doesn't host an event in the House of Sports that makes that month remembered by the public and the media, whether it's the performance of a major world club, national team, European and world championships, or international or local music stars.
The sports base features various training equipment and specialised facilities to cater to athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all skill levels. It also offers a range of programs and services such as individual training, team practices, and competitions.
