The Sir David Wallace Sports Hall (SDW) is our largest indoor multi-sport and flexible events space and widely used for Athletic Union Club training and competition venue.
Across the campus there also are 5 artificial surfaces servicing the needs of Rugby, Football, Hockey, Lacrosse and American Football.

Rugby Rubber Crumb pitch
Converted from natural grass in 2015 by SIS Pitches the Rugby Rubber Crumb pitch is home to its extensive Rugby programme. Consisting of a World Rugby standard surface, fully floodlit with perimeter spectator fencing the Rugby pitch hosts matches including National League 1, Allianz Premier 15s and BUCS Super Rugby.
Hockey Water-based Pitch
The elite water-based pitch is an international standard dedicated hockey facility and home to its extensive Hockey programme. The facility is fully floodlit, with dedicated spectator space, scoreboard and is serviced by the adjacent Hockey Pavilion.
EHB Pitch
The EHB is a Floodlit Sand Dressed artificial surface, suitable for use for Hockey, Lacrosse and small sided football.
Holywell 4 Rubbercrumb
Newly constructed in 2020 by SIS Pitches, this pitch is a high-performance artificial pitch tested to FIFA Quality standards.
PEC Rubbercrumb
The PEC is a floodlit rubber crumb surface, suitable for Football. It is also used widely for Rugby training.
