The hippodrome is located on the territory of a huge sports and entertainment complex, spread over an area of 620 hectares, where you can find entertainment for every taste. In addition to the hippodrome itself, there is a luxurious five-star Meydan hotel, a golf course, a museum of the history of horse racing, a riding school, many restaurants and a huge parking lot for 8,600 cars.
The hippodrome is equipped with two racing tracks. The first, internal one, has artificial turf, which allows racing to take place in any weather. Its length is 1750 m. The second, external grass track, is the longest in the world. Its length is 2400 m. The hippodrome also has a track for training. All races are broadcast in real time on a huge LED screen measuring 110 by 10 m.
