One of the country's most well-known and popular "high-altitude training camp" is available to athletes. The accommodation buildings and sports facilities have been transformed, and the modern complex is a favorite location for competitors preparing for competition. Mátraháza - which has a special climate due to its mountainous location - is known in the public consciousness as a popular resort. The cleaner, high-altitude air has a different effect on the human body, and athletes have the opportunity to experience what it's like to prepare in such conditions within an organized framework.
The sports camp features various training equipment and specialised facilities to cater to athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all skill levels. Mátraházi Training Camp can accommodate 100 people (86 people + 14 people on extra beds) in 42 double rooms and 1 apartment, several of which are barrier-free and therefore suitable for disabled athletes. It also features hot tub (jacuzzi), Finnish sauna, cryo cabin (-85 Celsius) and medical and massage room. The special rooms are suitable for team meetings, technical meetings, and other events (sports or corporate). There is a kitchen, buffet and restaurant capable of serving 100 people.
