The Academy of Sailing and participates in ISAF national championships in the classes Optimist, Laser and Open Sea. Our academies are open both for professionals and for beginners. We offer beginner or developing sailing courses for beginners in the fields of sailing, navigation and maritime safety. Today the club provides the necessary sailing facilities and basic sanitary facilities to serve athletes and members. New members are welcome. Since 2017, we again launched the Optimist Sailing Academy, attracting the participation of local youth in sports aged 7 to 14 years, giving them the opportunity to learn how to sail and participate in racing competitions. At the Nicosia Sailing Club, members of all ages can unleash the potential to improve their quality of life by going to the sea with sailing - undoubtedly one of the most environmentally friendly ways to understand, enjoy and soak up the love of the sea, fair play and sportsmanship. Our goal and efforts have always been to attract young people to sailing, as well as to inspire and develop participation in sports in general, helping them get involved in healthy activities.
