Piscina Sylvia Fontana is a municipal Olympic swimming complex in the Anella Mediterrània sports park of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. Built for the Tarragona 2018 Mediterranean Games and dedicated to former local swimmer Sylvia Fontana, the venue is centred on a 50 metre outdoor pool with grandstand seating and modern competition equipment. It forms part of the city’s network of municipal sports facilities and sits within a larger park area with open spaces and parking.
The complex is designed for both daily public use and high-level training camps. It regularly hosts Catalan and Spanish swimming and water polo championships and is recognised by the Catalan Tourism Agency with the Sports Tourism mark, attracting clubs and squads from across Spain and abroad for intensive training blocks. Thanks to pool heating and biomass-based water climatization, the Olympic pool operates throughout much of the year, serving local clubs, schools, masters swimmers and visiting groups looking for reliable 50 m water time in a competition-style setting.
