The Barra Olympic Park, originally the City of Sports Complex, is a cluster of nine sporting venues in Barra da Tijuca, in the west zone of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The park, which served as the Olympic Park for the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Paralympics, was originally built for the 2007 Pan American Games, consisting of three venues. The complex was later expanded to nine venues for the Olympics, two of which are temporary structures, and became the site of the Olympic Training Center.
The park has 5 permanent sports arenas capable of hosting competitions and spectators, which together have a capacity for 48 thousand spectators.
- Arena Carioca 1 (capacity: 16,000 people)
- Rio Olympic Arena (12,000 people)
- Maria Esther Bueno Stadium (10,000 people)
- Maria Lenk Water Park (5,000 people)
- Velodrome (5,000 people)
In addition to these arenas, there are two smaller ones, used only for training. They have hosted competitions and spectators at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, each with 10,000 seats in temporary stands:

Sports training and Staff | The sports base offers a wide range of sports training programs and services to help individuals reach their goals. The sports center is fully equipped and has all the required facilities to host various tournaments and competitions.
