Campo Sportivo Comunale San Paolino, also known as Campo Sportivo S. Paolino or Centro Sportivo Barona Sporting 1971, is a municipal football complex in the Barona district in south Milan. It centres on a full size synthetic turf stadium pitch with small stand and floodlights, used for official league games up to Eccellenza level by Barona Sporting 1971 and for a large youth and amateur programme. Recent refurbishment has focused on regenerating the seven a side pitches, upgrading the changing rooms and renewing the bar and reserved on site parking, which makes the venue a busy neighbourhood hub for evening and weekend football.
The main football area is a synthetic turf eleven a side field with floodlights and a small concrete stand, with an official capacity of about 500 spectators. Around it the operator has structured a dense training layout with multiple seven a side and five a side pitches in synthetic turf, some laid out as independent fields and others marked within the large central pitch. The centre is booked heavily for amateur leagues and corporate tournaments, and also offers at least one small beach volleyball area, as indicated by booking platforms, so that football dominated activity is complemented by some small sided alternative formats.
Off the pitches the complex has functional locker rooms with showers and toilets for teams and referees, a clubhouse area with bar now operated also as a pizzeria, and reserved internal parking dedicated to players. These elements come from a recent restyling that aimed at making Sporting Barona one of the more modern football centres in Milan, with comfortable social spaces for teams before and after matches.
