Bazeni Poljud sports center is located in the northwestern part of the city of Split. SC Bazeni Poljud is located on a spacious surface of about 32,254.00 m², and with its architectural design (similar to a wave) it fits nicely into both the Mediterranean landscape and the purpose-built complex. The sports content in the swimming pools is diverse and occupies 24,645.00 m² of the total area, and there are also various halls.
SC Bazeni Poljud is a comprehensive sports facility equipped with a wide range of amenities to accommodate various sports and physical activities. The sports base features various training equipment and specialised facilities to cater to athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all skill levels. It also offers a range of programs and services such as individual training, team practices, and competitions. The facility is staffed by experienced instructors, trainers, and coaches, who are available to assist and guide individuals in reaching their goals.
-Olympic Swimming pool – 200.00 m2, with the stands for about 2,000 spectators. It is used for swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming and diving.
-Water Polo pool – 955.00 m2 with the
stands approx. for 650 seats. It is used for swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming and diving.
-The Swimming pool for non-swimmers – 270.00 m2.
-Outdoor Swimming pool with Diving board - 932.00 m2. It is used for swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming and diving. In the winter months, the pool is covered with a balloon, and then it is not possible to use the diving board.
-Judo hall – 274.00 m2, with the bleachers for approx. 150 seats. The hall is used for judo, but it can also be used for karate, taekwondo, wrestling, dancing, recreation and it is possible to hold competitions.
-Multipurpose hall – 1088.00 m2, with the grandstands with approx. for 330 seats. The hall is used for volleyball, handball, indoor soccer and various competitions.
-Gymnasium - 439.00 m2, with the bleachers for approx. 190 seats. The hall specializes in sports gymnastics.
-Wrestling hall – 146.00 m2. The hall is used for wrestling and dancing.
-Boxing hall – 189.00 m2. The hall has a ring and is used for boxing and kickboxing.
-Bowling alley – 439.00 m2. Specialized in bowling - six lanes. It has an auditorium with about 50 seats.
-Fencing hall – 310.00 m2. The space has been remodeled for fencing training.
