The Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT) is a flagship athletics facility on the island, owned by the Tenerife Island Council and managed by the public company Ideco. Recognised internationally for its modern design, even featured by the Museum of Modern Art in New York in its exhibition "New Architecture in Spain" in 2006, the centre is a point of pride for Tenerife.
