The “Giulio Onesti” Olympic Acetosa Preparation Center covers an area of 25 hectares with outdoor and indoor sports facilities. Inside there are the Institute of Sports Medicine and Science, the CONI Sports School and the Anti-Doping laboratory.

It accommodates all the necessary equipment and training facilities in order to practice a wide range of sports and sports activities, including Badminton, Handball, Baseball and more.
All of the sports center’s facilities have flooring of premium quality and numerous specialized modern training equipment, which greatly enhance the productivity and efficiency of training done in the sports center. Also features specialized halls and facilities for training gymnastics and aerobics.
It also has all the required facilities for athletes’ comfort and convenience, such as separate showers and bathrooms for men and women, secure lockers, first aid kits, gyms with various training equipment fit for all tastes, a separate room for coaches, etc.
The sports center is fully equipped and has all the required facilities to host various tournaments and competitions. For those who simply want to get back into shape, general preparation lessons and personalized training programs are also offered.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and each room and facility is being frequently maintained and refreshed to ensure maximum comfort and efficiency.
The center is very well organized and staffed, it provides year-round sports support to local clubs and individuals and beyond. Trainers and staff are all operating on a professional level, and always are glad to assist athletes through the training process. The center is large and spacious enough to accommodate large training groups, as well as small ones. The sports center also welcomes individual or private training sessions.

Sports & Facilities
The Centro dell'Acqua Acetosa allows you to practice numerous sporting activities. Overall there are five playing fields for football, three for rugby, one for field hockey, and two diamonds for baseball / softball.
As for indoor sports, the Center has a gym dedicated to volleyball and basketball, a multipurpose facility for volleyball, handball, badminton and other sports, two gyms for artistic gymnastics, three gyms equipped for fencing, gyms for weightlifting and taekwondo, as well as four muscle rooms.
The center also houses two swimming pools of 50m and 25m and one for diving.

The Olympic Preparation Center has five guest rooms for a total of 200 beds in 98 rooms. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, WI-FI, TV and mini bar.
Catering
Guests of the Olympic Preparation Center have access to a self-service area and a restaurant with about eighty seats and table service.On request it is possible to provide catering services inside the Center for special events or occasions.
