Swimming Training Camp in Soma Bay, Egypt

A warm-weather base for competitive swimmers and clubs, with open-water access on the Red Sea, a heated 10-lane 50 m pool reached via a short transfer from the hotel, and full-board accommodation at a 4-star resort in Soma Bay.

Egypt for Swimming Training Camps

Egypt's Red Sea coastline offers a reliable warm-weather training window from October through April, making it a practical destination for European clubs seeking to avoid winter pool closures. Soma Bay benefits from mild daytime air temperatures in the range of 22–28 °C and Red Sea water temperatures of approximately 22–26 °C during the main season. The resort peninsula is reached via Hurghada International Airport (HRG), around 45 km away - approximately 50–60 minutes by road - with frequent charter and scheduled connections from across Europe. For swimming squads, the combination of a full-length outdoor heated pool, calm open-water bays, and a self-contained resort environment removes much of the logistical friction common in city-based training destinations.

01

International Water Polo Tournament
